Receives 2008 Best of Biddeford Award
U.S. Local Business Association’s Award Plaque
Honors the Achievement
WASHINGTON D.C., April 4, 2008 -- Quick Copy
Center has been selected for the 2008 Best of Biddeford Award in the
Rubber & Plastic Stamps category by the U.S. Local Business Association
(USLBA).
The USLBA "Best of Local Business" Award Program
recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each
year, USLBA members are asked to identify companies that they believe
have achieved exceptional marketing success and overall customer
satisfaction in their local market and business category. These are
local companies that enhance the positive image of small business
through service to their customers and community.
A record number of surveys were submitted this
year by members from all fifty states. The awards represent excellence
in local business and rate the best local businesses in three different
categories: Marketing, Image and Community.
Eighty-eight percent of the surveys were submitted
via the Internet this year, compared to seventy-four percent cast online
last year. Twelve percent were received via fax and mail, supporting the
premise that local businesses are gradually moving away from traditional
methods of communication. To ensure accuracy, surveys were subject to
three audits using a variety of technologies.
The 2008 USLBA Award Program focused on quality,
not quantity. Winners are determined based on the overall merits of each
category rather than how many votes a local business receives. USLBA
members are asked to assign a number between one and 10 to the local
business he or she votes for. The popular vote is still important,
however. To be eligible to win a 2008 USLBA Award, a program must
receive at least 1 percent of the popular vote to qualify.
