Is it safe to order online?

Yes. We use PayPal for all of our online transactions. PayPal uses SSL technology to keep your information safe. In addition, when you send a payment using PayPal, we don't receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number. Only PayPal has that information, encrypted and locked away safe.

PayPal is committed to utilizing the best commercially available technology and procedures to protect the security of your online transactions. We encourage you to carefully review their Data Security and Encryption if you have further questions.

How does PayPal work? How do I sign up?

PayPal is an account-based system that lets anyone with an email address securely send and receive online payments using their credit card or bank account. It is free to open and send money using a PayPal account. PayPal has a quick, 1-page signup form for opening accounts. If you do not already have an account, you will automatically be sent to this form when you checkout.

What is the PayPal Money Back Guarantee?

PayPal's Money Back Guarantee Program is designed to offer additional purchase protection to buyers making a physical goods purchase. The Money Back Guarantee Program will only be offered on transactions with a qualified seller. To learn more, go to the Money Back Guarantee page in the Security Center.

Are there any items not covered by the Money Back Guarantee?


Yes. The following items are not covered under the Money Back Guarantee:

  • Items that have been damaged by the buyer
  • Consumables and perishables
  • Items weighing more than 70 pounds
  • Items that, when packed, exceed 130 inches in combined length and girth (the combined length and girth is length plus twice the height plus twice the girth)
In addition, the Guarantee is only offered for transactions with a total amount of $1,000.00 USD or less. For more information about terms and exclusions, please refer to the Money Back Guarantee section of the User Agreement.

Do you accept purchase orders?

Yes, absolutely. We ask that you complete and sign our credit application and either fax (207) 286-3021 or mail it back to us. Please allow up to 30 days for credit approval. Upon approval, all purchase orders are handled on Net 15 terms.

What credit cards does PayPal accept?

PayPal accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express* Members in the UK may also use Switch or Solo cards with their PayPal accounts.

I'm having trouble using my American Express Card. Why?

*Please note that American Express has decided to decline credit card transactions in which an American Express Corporate Card is used with PayPal. At this time, attempts to register or use an American Express Corporate Card in conjunction with PayPal will be declined.

What if I want to pay by check?

If you'd like to pay by check, you have two options.

You may utilize PayPal's online eCheck service or you may call us at (207) 286-3020 or 1-800-672-3020 Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm EST.

What if I don't want to use PayPal?

If you're uncomfortable utilizing an online payment system you may call us at (207) 286-3020 or 1-800-672-3020 Monday - Friday 8:30am-5:00pm EST, and make a payment via MasterCard or Visa, or make arrangements to send payment by check or money order.

We only accept Discover or American Express through PayPal.

I am outside the US. Will you accept international orders? Can I still pay online with PayPal?

Yes. We happily accept International orders. PayPal is currently available in 55 countries and regions worldwide. Please note that we do have additional shipping and handling charges for orders shipping outside the 48 contingent states. Click here for more information.

How do you ship and when can I expect my order?

We ship all orders by US Mail First Class with Delivery Confirmation.  If you require your order by a specific time/date, or wish to have your shipping expedited, we will ship by UPS or FedEx at your expense.

All orders shipped via US Mail must be allowed ample time for delivery.  Postal delivery can take 4 to 6 weeks in some regions.  We cannot be held accountable for postal delays.

I have an account with FedEx/UPS. Will you ship by specified means?

We are happy to use alternate shipping methods, however we do ask that you call to place your order, rather than completing the online order form which will automatically include shipping and handling in the cost of your products. I saw an item on your website, but it's not available for online ordering. How can I order it?

All items pictured on our website are available for sale, however some items have too many customizable features to offer online. I need to email artwork to you.  What are your recommendations?

We receive a large volume of email everyday, and thusly the potential to fill our accounts to their limit is always there.  To avoid this, we suggest using a ZIP utility on your files before emailing them to online@rwengraving.com

A ZIP utility will compress your file to a smaller size. (This has NOTHING to do with the physical size of an image.  Please do not send "ant artwork".  Smaller size in this case means it takes up less disk space.)  This will not only make the email smaller in size, but faster to send and receive.  Once we have received a "zipped" file, we can easily "unzip" it to its original size and integrity.

Two of the most commonly used ZIP utilities are WinRAR and WinZip.  Either program will work.  Check your computer - you may already have WinZip installed as it is bundled with most Windows Operating Systems.

How do I "Zip" a file?

Zipping a file is compressing it, or reducing the amount of disk space it requires for storage.  This has NOTHING to do with the physical size of an image.  Please do not send "ant artwork." 

Many systems come with WinZip installed - it is usually bundled with Microsoft Operating Systems such as Windows.

If your system has a Zip utility  installed, you should be able to right click on the icon of the file you wish to zip and select "Add to Zip File" or "Add to Archive."  A new window will open and ask you where you would like the new file saved to, and may even give you compression options - depending on your software and version.

Pay attention to where the file is saved to.  You will need to be able to browse this location out when you attach the file to your email.  Artwork and orders should be emailed to online@rwengraving.com

Your site contains .PDF documents. How do I open them?

PDF stands for Portable Document Format.  Adobe created this file type and Adobe Reader software as an answer to delivering documents to different platforms/operating systems while maintaining the document's look and integrity.

Because we don't know if you are using a Mac or PC, and we don't know if you have Word, WordPerfect, TextMaker or AbiWord, we've chosen to save our documents in PDF format so that no matter what you use, you can still read and print our information in the manner it was intended.
